There were the Blackstones of Virginia who made me curious about stud farms. And, well, the Cole family…they’re probably one of the main reasons I am so obsessed with series. What I have always loved about her novels is that the characters felt like home. They always felt familiar, and their happily ever afters were ones I rooted for.
